All I need tonight is you
Whoever you may be
To kiss away the thousand fears
That are hidden inside of me
And to stand beside me
Wherever beside me is
And tell me that the arms I belong in
Could only be his
And to kiss away the crystal tears
As they pour out of my eyes
To wipe them before the freeze on my cheeks
And to never ask me why
And to be happy doing that
And having that be just enough
Just being content taking what comes
My smooth, my pain, my rough
So whoever and wherever you are
Way out there or somewhere near
No matter what, when you need to find me
I'll be waiting here

Hi Savannah,
Today is the first day that I decided to submit one of my poems to this site. You are the first person whose poem I have read and let me add, normally I would not respond. I am sure I am being biased in my action by now doing so (normally this is not me) and this is due to the fact that I have a 15year old daughter, whose name is Savannah. To the point.... Your poem is full of emotion from the heart and brilliant.
