submerged in my lewdity
arrogance gaining a firm foothold
insensitivity in the driving seat
always eager to make my presence felt
you frowned at my excesses
subconciously i crave for attention
eagerly wanting and waiting
to be drowned in it
such was my vanity
yet,you were still reaching out to me
in my trying times, i recall
somewhere, out there, your there
in my bid ti gain your favour
hasty promises escape from my lips
unwilling to chastise me, you grant my wishes
at times i pause and wonder
at your depthless magnanimity
even when am faithless
you remain ever calm and faithful
with a wink ,you always reassure me
i' ve come to realise
being without you is fruitless
is it to late to say i love you?
i guess it is easier said then proved
without doubt i know you love me
amazing how different
things seem now
with great reluctance
i' ve given up my vices
just because of you, my sweet Jesus
