Tell Me

Contributed by strider on Wednesday, 5th October 2005 @ 02:38:33 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

What thing must I speak of?
What manner of living has nature wrought on me?
Where must I seek succour?
Where would I find justice abound?
Tell me.
Who were to give me rest?
Who hath but a gentle nest?
Answer me ye gods that abide the earth
Speak! For thy guilty hearts have undone my hate
You shameless thugs that parade at mans’ death
Do you not speak now, is it too late?
If be not shame what saith thee of my claims?
You have sprung me from my heavenly shades
And thrust me into this dreadful Hades
Why has thou struck me with pain?
What must I do and thy favours regain
Oh! Gentle gods do not be brutish
How must I be with paradise re-establish?
Tell me.

Listen now, you must find peace
Only then to find release
Love yourself, to find true love
Do not blame spirits above

Ask and they will show the path
Lead you from your place of wrath
Don't just sit down their and grieve
Listen now and just believe, Ros

Liked the flow alot. And especially the language and how it just seemed to be older than it looks. But all the same, well done!
