Unseen

Contributed by Zanobia on Tuesday, 4th October 2005 @ 10:32:09 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

the things unseen are the ones to fear,
the outside full of laughter, of hopes, of joy,
yet the inside is no reflection,
full of hunger, a hunger that cannot be surpressed,
a hunger not surpressed by food or by water,
but a hunger for the dreams that where slashed away by and unknown daggar,
a hunger for the hope ripped away from a daring mind,
hungry for acceptance, for the joy that it once knew, hungry for love,
the thngs unseen are the ones to fear,
the darkness of a mind,
a mind once filled with happiness, wits, and wounderful things,
now filled with darkness, blood, and fury,
a thought of a mind that is cought up in the hands of a monster called "society",
the thought is twisted and converted into what it is "supposed" to be,
as the mind is curved and munipulated so is the person, the spirit, and the mind to whom the thought belonged,
crying for help, a cry that will be ignored and pushed aside,
a cry that will never be heard,
the things unseen are the ones to fear,
the cuts, blood, and bruises,
hidden by a mear piece of cloth,
but will stay for eternity,
the things unseen are the ones to fear,
the lost souls of this wicked world,
craving for light, for anything,
but pushed into the darkness once more,
social rejects, oucast, wierdo's they cry,
help, no, no help is ever given,
the things unseen are the ones to fear,
the serpant who steals your most joyfull memory,
exchanging it for a liftime of nothingness,
the thngs unseen are the ones to fear,
the coldness of a heart,
the living horror fo a person with nothing,
nothing to live for,
the things unseen are the ones to fear.

I've written a couple of poems dealing with the same issues, but none of mine comes close to this. This is one of the few "longer" poems that I've read from start to finish, without skipping bits in between.

"Giftige" flo.

This is a weird poem not becouse of it's subject ... it's becouse of my familiarity with the subject couse if you'd split my head in two and you were able to "see" my thoughts .... i think you'd get scared. This poem is an excelent example of human nature(not all human nature ... just the cursed human nature).5 stars from me.
