I bound across the forest floor,
Looking for my prey.
My eyes taking in every detail,
My nose, every smell.
He killed my family,
Took away my life.
So now I hunt him, like he hunted me,
To show him what it’s like.
My fur gleams with sweat,
My paws are coated with blood,
But I must keep on, find the human,
And take my revenge tonight.
I can see him now,
Looking back fearfully.
My prey’s in my sight, I won’t lose this fight,
He will pay for what he’s done.
I’ve got him cornered now,
Like a frightened rabbit.
I lift my head, howl to the moon,
And close in for the kill.
I go for his throat,
Rip his flesh,
End his life,
And bring his death…
