can loving you be a bad thing

Laying on the couch next to you my heart skips beats. Your arms are around me and I feel like I am floating. I am on cloud nine. Everytime I think about you my stomach does flip-flops. When I am around you I forget about all my worries and woes. But when you aren't there everything comes flooding back like a dam breaking and leaving devastation and torment in its wake. One problem with me loving you, it is breaking friendships apart. My friendships are breaking, not just because of you but because I am letting them, and I need to stop. How can things be good, and then in the one instant that you leave be bad. There is much in the world that I don't understand, and I probably never will, it saddens me that this is one of those things.
