Train of Thought.

In my head there is a choo-choo train,
That swells up and fills the insides of my brain,
It fires up nicely with brick-loads of coal,
And leads to my destination, pastime, or goal.
I am the contradiction, the conductor,
Prancing about,
And if you don’t like the direction,
Then you’d better step on out.
It leads me wherever I care to explore,
Whether it be North Korea, Italy, or the grocery store.
And once in a while, if I’m feeling keen,
My train thinks up a spanking new flying machine!
Oh how it amuses me, my simple train of thought,
I’d tell you all about it, But it told me I forgot!
