There are so many words I could have said, but I chose not to
Only now I wish I would have said them just because you’re gone
Sadly it’s too late, for some reason I thought you’ll be here forever
Yes I know tomorrow is promised to no one but I didn’t know your tomorrow would come so soon
I think what hurts most is that I didn’t get to say goodbye the right way
And now I have so many tears, tears of both sadness and happiness
Unfortunately no matter how much I cry no tears will bring you back
Yes I hear you whispering in my ear telling me that you’re alright but I wish you were still here
That day you left many people cried tears sorrow and had so much grief
But today is different because we see God opened his arms and eased your pain
Since you’ve been gone not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about you
I’ve thought about your smile, your happiness and your pain, but most of all I thought of your Love
