I am my demons

At times I let the demons eat at me
Let them tear at me inside,
Let them dig their claws into me
and let them feast until I die,
At times I wish the demons were real
That when I wake I'd be in heaven,
That with their claws the demons killed
The only soul they've all forsaken'd
