Deliverance

For so long you’ve been holding on,
To something you can’t let go of.
Desperately you’ve tried and tried,
Needing deliverance from up above.
You’ve tried to have the faith you need,
Yet your mountain still seems too tall.
You can’t take it anymore,
So on the Lord, you must call.
Step out in faith, just one more time,
Humble yourself before the Lord.
He will give you the deliverance you need,
And, oh… so much more.
Reach out and take His hand,
Giving Him all of your sins,
He will gladly take them from you,
And give you freedom within.
It’s not His desire that you be bound,
He died on the cross to set you free.
Just accept His delivering power,
So that you can live with Him eternally.
