Watching the radiant
Butterfly fluttering by
Wonder which way it is going to fly
To follow the breeze
To touch the waft of air
To decide which way to go
Which road to take
In this moment to seize
And get lost in time
To come and go as it pleases
Which way to fly
To follow the breeze
Or to ponder by
Maybe someday the breeze will calm
And it will be silent
For boisterous will drown
Silence will ascend
To see all the footsteps
Of where I once walked
The existence
To which I have succumbed
So I stand in somber silence
To watch my future ahead unfurl
As bright sunbeams shine down from over
To fly as smoothly yet ungracefully
As a beaming new born dove
To grow in life each moment
To encounter love
So I gaze upon the butterfly
That flutters through the air
As it decides which way to go
