Better To Have Loved And Lost?

They say that it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all,
Does this come from someone whos heart's been broken or has never taken that fall?
Would they believe this to be true if once down this road they've traveled?
And dealt with the pain upon this trail as their thoughts become unraveled.
Once a heart's been broken,never again will it be pure,
It becomes worse than a fatal illness that will never have a cure.
It is one that must be lived with and grows worse with each passing day,
Willing to do anything just to ease this pain if only I could find a way.
But there is no answer that comes to me no matter how hard I try,
I guess that this pain will grow inside of me until the day that I am lucky enough to die!!

this is so sad ,hope things get better 4 u ....
i know , they always say time will heal ...but does it ?!! i guess it does but still ther's a scar in ur heart reminding u of that old pain...
