I gave you my trust,
My heart and my soul-
Though now these things
No longer seem whole.
So how does it feel,
To be on the top-
Feeling me up
As I’m telling you “stop!”?
I hope that you know
I wanted to cry-
Not because of the act,
But the reasons of why.
You say that you love me-
Though what does that mean?
When love turns to violence
From anger unseen.
I try to forgive you
Each time that you ask,
But forgetting it happened
Is too big a task.
For there is a line
That once it is crossed,
Changes a person
And forever is lost.

| Your poem is amazing. I've been through the same thing recently and ended up in the hospital. I feel exactly the same way but I just couldn't find the words to express it. It's a great write....Everything in my journal are my feelings about my situation....maybe they will help you....good luck and take care. |
