Tell Me You'll Leave

Contributed by tres_estrellas on Saturday, 1st October 2005 @ 10:33:30 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Don't let me down
Just let me be
I want you to see
what you're doing to me

I never understood you
and all the things you do
I hated to love you
and the love hurt me too

so tell me you'll leave
I can't do this anymore
or tell me you love me
because I feel unsure

I didn't want you to go
but your love didn't show
when I just needed to know
that you loved me so

Love-- you can't live with it, can't live without it. You did a great job putting those crazy emotions into words. You feel so hopeless and out of control when you are going through it.

The concept of hating loving, where you love, but you loathe the fact that you feel those emotions, is awesome. Good job demonstrating.

Often, the world trial is uncertainty.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
