The news I heard - Beyond belief
You've left this world - Though it should have been me
I'd give up my soul - If you would just come back
Oh, how you've changed my life - But you'll never see that
I miss you
I'll sign my name - We'll all do the same
Just rise out of bed and walk again
...Come back - Hold my hand - And take this pain out of my head - You were gonna be a star - You were gonna change the world - But now you're gone - And now we'll never know
But I'm not gonna say goodbye - 'Cause I don't wanna believe
You'll never again see the night - You'll never be here with me
But I'm gonna hold you close Inside within my memory
