World of Whirls

A rose’s beauty is unspoken of
But its fragrance is an untold story
Like the wings of a beautiful new dove
Never recognized for songs of praise and glory
So life is a big whirlwind of emptiness
Love is the one thing you want to caress
In a world of upside downs
Let love be the one in which you drown
The wind blows and the leaf falls
Only to be stepped upon in a hurry
That very tree will grow so tall
But in a moment be gone in a blustery flurry
Swimming to a heart that calls your name
Wanting, needing love to burn like flames
Open arms to grab a hold
Finding this world of whirls has taken love to be sold
