trying to erase Colorado
wait why erase it
when I don’t mean
anything important
to her ....
I just wish
oh god
why couldn’t
she be the one
why couldn’t
I be her man
I hate being
stuck in neutral
I can’t hate her
I don’t dare love
don’t say it
(I love her)
I know
I don’t mean it
All these emotions
trapped in my heart
but they remain nameless
I deal with my demons
when they have faces
but how do you fight
what you can’t feel
for once I’m silent
I’m so scared
I think they are scheming
for my downfall
but how much further
can I fall?
there’s no light
engulfed in darkness
even my screams
are lost in the pressing
silence
I’m at a loss for words
even the ones
that I dare not say
refuse to aide
what can I say
when she means
nothing in the
grand scheme
of things
so I wish
on a falling star
that I will
face the mirror
and survive
