Knock, Knock, Who's There?

At the door of actions,
Virtue knocks with a quality unbeknownst to me--
Patience.
Hunger taps the knocker with a mild force,
Demands from my Id.
Exhaustion peeps in through the keyhole,
Poking leaves and twigs through.
Lethargy smiles from above,
always questioning all.
Opportunity, throwing rocks at the windows from a moving Chevy,
Temptation slides its smooth fingers against the door nob,
and leaning on the door bell,
whispers with an oily voice reeking of vodka and broken hearts,
"Is anybody home?"

Sorry, I'm out right now, but if you wish to leave a message....
Well done. Door of actions....
Take care.
