I sit staring at you
waiting for that smile
Don't want to blink,
for I may miss
the precious sight, your smile
Can't wait for that moment
when you'd unveil
your beautiful smile
Seven minutes I wait
with my smile mile long
looking at you trying
to hide that smile
Here it comes now
If there ever was one
a smile well worth
seven minutes and more

some things are just worth waiting for- simple pleasures are the core of human happiness. I can relate here, good stuff. |

I have friends like that. They rarely smile. I bet if they read this poem, they'd reconsider. Keep writing. Ana |

This is lovely.
A smile can be the most precious thing... and the most beautiful.
Me? I'd wait hours for a smile.
This is a cute write.
