Lord shine down.
I don't want to cry anymore
Give me a reason to open another door.
For I have betrayed you, oh, in so many ways
My love, my family, my everyday.
You speak to me in silence, yet I hear every word.
I live for something that I, myself, have not learned.
My ignorance, my pride, my condicinding acts
I pray that all this will be washed away. Of You, this I ask.
So much I take and so little I give,
Who am I? to even bathe in this skin?
All of this pain, that I balme on Your earth
Was brought on by greed, i've welcomed since birth.
