Crush This Fate

Contributed by Vampire_Slander on Monday, 26th September 2005 @ 07:40:31 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

This growing arrangement of fire filled sky
leaves its scorch marks deep into my soul
a temptations not yet dealt with a deed written dark
wind howling in the most morbid tones of life

This earth bleeds in many colors
hatreds assistance is brutal at best
the strings of life clip away each day
only the truly wise will begin an assent

A mountain road to heaven
each step wide and reckless
an everlasting shadow looms on either side
this broken cause never seemed so hard

my redemption has been lost in fire
I shall bare no angle wings
as my last smiles are somewhat human
a winter has positioned in my mind

this struggle has been lost
damnation summons its circle and cage
I am forever lost within
with my final breathe I sing

cool, i like it
a lot of feeling in this poem
sometimes i get this effect when i lack structure, but i find that i someitmes have to find an equilibrium between structure and feeling
nice work though

What an awsome write.

I love this part the most

my redemption has been lost in fire
I shall bare no angle wings
as my last smiles are somewhat human
a winter has positioned in my mind

great job on this.
