Baja y Bonita

Contributed by spazz911 on Saturday, 24th September 2005 @ 11:15:59 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Ella es baja y bonita - she is short and beautiful
as Ella baila por la noche - as seh dances through the night
cantando canciones - singing songs
hablando por la musica - talking through the music

Yo miro mientras ella baila - I watch while she dances
bailando por la noche - dancing for the night
Yo no voy a la ella - I do not go to her
Yo hablo se llama - I speak her name

Pero baila cansado - but she dances sadly
en la luna bonita a noche - in the beautiful moon at night
Yo escucho por la cancion - I listen for her song
Yo escucho por la noche - I listen for the night

i would say you did good with this. you just did a typo with seh instead of she for one part though. and with, i think, its present progressive you need to have the conjugated form of estar along with the verb, such as esta bailando. i liked how you gave the translation right after it also. i would also say that cansado somewhat means more tired than sad to me, but then words always mean more than one thing. ::shrugs:: el poema es bueno. yo me gusta el poema.
