An Autumn spread across the trees,
A canopy of blue and yellow leaves
inscribing silver in the moonlight.
We were all so chiseled perfect white
Branching laughter across the night,
riding time across the sky.
We were feather unto feather falling high,
A soft assurance lifting high,
afraid to face the failure in our lives.
