Love Always Hopes

Contributed by anitajames on Saturday, 24th September 2005 @ 05:27:22 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Love, bring me the softness of another's caress
touching my hair, my lips, my breast.

Love, bring me the peace that's missing inside
driven out by my stubborn mind and my pride.

Love, bring me the trust I once held so dear
make all of my goodness and his again clear.

Love, bring me the heat of passion's embrace
let all of the joy of it shine on my face.

Love, bring me the love of another so dear
bring him, I swear I'll hold him for years.

A write like this is just what I needed to read at the moment. Nicely done with this one it covered a lot of aspects of love that I myself have struggled to write about. Nice write

You deserve alot more comments on your work Ann. I absolutely love this piece. The longing for love so evident and clear. May your heart find the true love that it deserves.
*hugs*
Sue
