Topic: oops

So what is the excuse this time
Look me straight in the eye
And talk to me
Let me in
Or out
Just don’t tell me a lie
Make it quick and to the point
No need to hassle
With diplomacy

Take no concern of how this effect you
Or me
Make no mention
Of feeling sorry
Or guilty
Or tell me
How you wish it could be
Peaceful and resting
Like the quite days of the cemetery
Wind throwing
Nimble blowing
Down on the old oak tree
The leaves that dropped
Tore destiny apart
And suddenly I find myself feeling free

It sounds like the murky waters of an indecisive love. Love your straightforward attitude present in your poem! Superb visuals too! The boldness of the last line sticks in the readers mind. Very good poetry. I enjoyed this read immensely!

I'm glad to know things seem to be going better for you now. This write's emotive...sad and kind of bitter. At least it's a couple months in your past now.
