"I love you,
Yes I do,
You may not think it's true,
But I really do love you.

You bring the joy in my life,
You bring the light in my heart,
I love you so much,
When I look into your eyes,
I see the future,
I see a long lasting bond,
That can only be broken by you.

I do things for you,
because I love you,
We have something special,
I can never let you go,
please don't ever leave me,
because I love you.

I'm glad you're in my life,
I would die for you,
You may not think it's true,
But I really do love you."

this is simple and sort of... well, young. i like the topic, but it sounds kind of trite.
but that's just me.
i like how earnest this is though, despite the flaws.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
