Heart Tones

Contributed by darkhorse71 on Thursday, 22nd September 2005 @ 12:02:09 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Music is a mystery
that can help us all our life.
It picks me up and takes me high
above the waves of strife.

It can really mend a broken heart,
oh, how it soothes the pain
that always comes when we are down,
and our lives are full of rain.

It can help the man who is lonely,
it will serve him as his friend.
It can help the man who had fallen in love
when suddenly it comes to an end.

For our deepest hurt or highest high,
There’s music for every need.
It can pick us up and keep us there
through song we can always succeed.

For me it's a form of expression,
telling the words that I cannot say.
It's my inspiration in all that I do,
it acts as my guide each day.

And you, my love, are the music
that plays within my mind.
You calm the tempest in my soul,
and leave all my cares behind.

For it's you that is the symphony
that plays from the stars above.
For it's from the music of your heart
that showed me the true way of love.

Nice tribute. Sorry it's to a former love. I'll be reading more of your writes. The read was smooth, had a good rhythm. I've always said music was my Valium. (Tells how old I am lol) Still is. Peace to ya.

just remember all the fond memories, and the music will continue, to play. Thinsg all happen for some reason, yet its sad to have lost. Maybe the lost can be found. SMILE...........it helps.
