Another rose is dead

Contributed by Archie on Wednesday, 21st September 2005 @ 11:04:17 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

I looked out the window
to see the bueatiful rose garden
bright moroons shone
on the hot summer day
someone came and looked
he picked a rose from the rose garden
now there's one less rose
to encourage and brighten my day

I wish to know giving with out pain
I wish that we were perfect again
just like the days of Adam and Eve
before they picked the fruit from that tree

Out of the hurts deep inside of my heart
I learn the life that I have to live
I must plant a seed in my garden
so my rose grows up once again

People wonder
how could Jesus do all he did
born a man
how could he live life perfect

With loud cries and tears
he prayed to the one who could save
He was able to die
and rise up from the grave

I don't want to walk
the road that Jesus walked
I don't want to teach the things that he taught
but I strive to do it cause I see in me
a man who can live so selfishly

If I had a way to gain happiness
that did not involve so much pain
I would take it today
But I see no other way

I looked out my window
and watched the new stem in the ground
It looked so all alone
the other roses were gone
I can not wait til summer
when you'll bloom into a rose
and for a season
I can sing of your growth

I wish I could know giving without pain
I wish that we were perfect once again
just like in the days of Adam and Eve
before they ate the fruit from that tree

I wish that I could be a man of peace
that did not feel enmity
life is a struggle
that's the way it's meant to be

I have a choice in life
if I want to be free

******now there's one less rose
to encourage and brighten my day

My dear friend, Archie, your Rose has bloomed, I can see it inside of you, and in me and in everyone. Oh how beautiful it is.

This poem is very passionate and deeply filled with love. Only love could have written something of this nature. Anyone reading this poem should very much see the freedom they already have.

After reading this poem I got up walked, and from my window there down below, I stared at the garden, the warm sun shining brightly on it.

What did I see? Flowers drying out. And I thought hard, feeling that deep passion inside of me, oh how did they ever pick that one beautiful Rose, taking the life out of it, removing it so we cannot see its beauty.

I walked away, feeling sad, from your poem for a while.

As I was packing my husband's lunch I began to think deeper into your poem title, Another Rose Is Dead . It made me to think deeper thoughts. Then, after my husband left for work, I went out to sit in that sun, in my chair on the deck, where I see my moon each night, thinking deep thougts of Him, our Dear Lord, our Rose. These were my thoughts on your lovely poem:

The Rose, Our Father in heaven, gave us a new Garden, and in that garden He planted a seed, and out of it came (bloomed ) the most beautiful Crimson Rose.

That was picked, (chosen). Then one day it was picked. We took that Rose and decorated a cross. The Rose died, it was buried and bloomed (Rose) again.

Archie, your Rose has bloomed, the one you feel you lost, but you didn't. No, so rejoice!!!

We are free, because Jesus (your beautiful Rose) lives. Jesus is our Rose. And in His garden (heaven), our new Eden, He plants seeds that will bloom and bloom, into beautiful flowers, (us) and they will be picked (chosen) and they will die, and more will be replanted , and they will bloom and bloom, and bloom.

Our daily pains are important to each of us, so that we can enjoy the place that is prepared for us after we die of our earthly death. Rejoice to the high heavens. He the Rose you love so much, and has planted more seeds, and is watching His flowers grow.

Yes, no one wants to die, and to go through the pain, like that one Rose did for us. Can you truly see how beautiful that Rose was, and is, and why it was picked, why it was chosen.

There is that one beautiful Rose deep inside each of us, in full bloom.

I cry soft tears, because that is what love does to you, when it is spoken (written) so sweet and tender as this poem was. It is a masterpiece, and even that word is not enough to explain to you how wonderful it is.

You have your Rose and now, you have everything. Oh the beauty in each of us when we keep our Rose close inside, where it can never be picked again, never destroyed again, never used for a decoration on a cross ever, ever, again. We are free.

From my loving christian heart to yours Archie, my heart Ioves yours through Christ our Lord..
