The mighty warrior goes into battle with strength and honour, it is not strength if the sword but strength of the heart that
drives him and then he returns home with sweetness. He seeks light that he is granted not darkness that he is spared, because he is not a warrior but merely a man. Like mighty oak in a storm snaps but weeping willow bends to see the sun smile.

Inspiring words! I would like them better, though, in verse rather than prose. But even so, I like and identify with them.

this was pretty good. it almost seems as though you had more to put into it. do you want to? you wrote down words that are very true of a boy becoming a man--a warrior. thank you for sharing |
