My feelings always seem to get the best of me
like so many times i've looked away
the things i can never know about you
always seem to show through the days
slightly new, in a round about way
you look toward the sky for judgement
in your eyes the pain is too much to bear
and i know you know you can feel it
tortured and obscure inside a mind that needs the love
an eye full of hate and a mouth to match
but i mind full of love and through the looking glass
you always seem to see right to that
the fact that i can't forget to lie
and your always so predictable
but i know i wont forget
to let you turn the tables
