Lost...

Contributed by sick_n_twisted on Tuesday, 20th September 2005 @ 01:39:18 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I see your dead body on the ground
Where its picked and kicked around

I tear drop falls down my cheek
Everywhere so gloomy and bleak

To see no one would care
Constantly in your own worst nightmare

Your sister is trying to warm up to your body
Died when he was just a baby

Its disgusting the way you get treated
A mother is all you ever needed

None of gods creatures should live like this
Living in such a miserable bliss

You were starving,unprosperous and alone
Died in your sleep quiet without a moan

Just like the life you led
Lost,unloved and misled

I enjoyed this and can relate to it because I've had dogs that died.

You took a tragedy and turned it around....Good for you. You couldn't save the one dog, but you've saved another from a similar fate. May you and your new furry friend have many happy years together : )
Nicely done with this write.

Scorp.

Excellent write. Quite emotional.

Perhaps you could name the surviving pup, Love because she loved and was devoted to her brother. Or perhaps a name that equates to love.

Anywho, thanks for sharing. This is a great write.

This was a good write! i Loved it! And that must have been hard to see that poor dog die right in front of your house. I would cry too! Its hard when any one of Gods creations have died. Some people dont notice dogs as much but they need attention too!

Anyways loved your poem!

Love Kimmy
