Lifepoems

Babies crying
Mother dying
No more food
In the street she stood
Homeless nights
Spousal fights
Drive by shooting
A city of looting
This is where I live
Something soon has got to give
Loving arms
Holiday charm
Time for a beautiful life
No more guns, no more strife
Unexpected laughing
Uncontrolled loving
Only in a dream, can this come true
That’s reality and there is nothing anyone can do

Your words are very similar to a song i wrote called "Here we go again"
I like this a lot.
I escaped the innercity many years ago but know that people still exist in that way of life. Maybe one day it will change. |
