dead quiet
not a word
my marching
matched those next to me
i was scared
but I wont tell anyone
thats my secret
A sudden jolt peirces me
i didnt feel it at first
but my once green coat
is now a dampened red
a cold air blew
and i found myself freezing
in the 90 degree weather
my boots didn't feel so tight anymore
and i finally got
some well deserved rest
