You wear a mask now
To hide your true face
I know why and how
You're looking for grace
But you'll never find it
Looking for it here
In Paris, during a full moon
She says, 'eat my heart out
It's the only thing that saves.
Its what keeps the pain at bay.
I fear the taste of blood,
For it mite turn me back
Into the thing I hate.'
She kisses me softly
With a gun to my head
she says,'I'm sorry,
But you are dead'
I was always a sucker
for a pretty face
In Paris, during a full moon
She says, 'eat my heart out
It's the only thing that saves.
Its what keeps the pain at bay.
I fear the taste of blood,
For it mite turn me back
Into the thing I hate.'
This hollow feeling is settling
One touch and I'll shatter
Cause I got nothing left
You turned me into you
Unable to really feel
watch the moon rise
In Paris, during a full moon
She says, 'eat my heart out
It's the only thing that saves.
Its what keeps the pain at bay.
I fear the taste of blood,
For it mite turn me back
Into the thing I hate.'

It's the only thing that saves.
