WHATEVER!!!!! Her voice drips with venom
(Sure take it out on me. It's a safe bet)
I don't care anymore! she hurls at me
(She does, but doesn't know how to deal )
One of these days I'm not going to take this anymore!
(I warn her many, many times)
Who cares?!? she flings at me with thoughtless abandoment
(I do. It hurts me to the core.)
Do you want to go live with your mom?
(Please say no. I don't want you to go.)
For once I'm greeted with SILENCE
(SILENCE speaks volumes to me. SCREAMS at me.)
So I do what I'm struggling not to do
( But I'm weak. Too much stress. Too much life.)
I yell, pack your things. Go on. Move.
(Leave me like everyone else has.)
And I deliver the coup de gras
( God! Please don't say it!!!)
If you leave, you can't come back.
( Well, there's the slit to the throat!)
She packs, she leaves, I'm bleeding.
( Maybe if I make her leave it won't hurt as much.)
BUT IT DOES. FOOLISH FOOLISH ME, IT DOES!!!
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU SYLINA.
(AND ANYTHING CAN BE WORKED OUT.)

Um .so many have this same story, and yes its hard.! I have done this with my brother............(sorta)........But it is a lil differ sitution.! Sorry, its happening, and why would any one want to leave their nannie?! I loved both of mine, and now they are gone.! Liked this write, yet its sad.

Owww. So much pain and anger. So much love and compassion. This transects with so much of recent issues with my own son, even down to the words and to the feelings you have so honestly layed out here. I can't really offer any comfort, just someone sharing your pain. Good poem.

i believe that you gotta do what you gotta do even if it hurts you the most i know for a fact that,that situation was hard for you and sylina things will get better i think maybe she will come to her senses.....
