A Quick Visit

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Sunday, 18th September 2005 @ 06:38:07 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

It has become so painfully obvious
So that a blind man could see
In a matter of speaking
As a matter of fact
Some of us, just like it like that
Turning the white into the printed black
Hiding in the shadows of the meanings attached

Changing up the tempo
Lets lake this one a little slow
True, there is so much to know
So much to learn-
And yes, you knew it was coming, so tall to grow
Staring at the trees which thankfully blanket my window
I get on my knees to tell which way the wind blows

Help is on the way
From which direction, yours or mine
Nobody, at this time, can really say
Nobody would dare venture a guess
As to how long love has before it depletes to loneliness
A mountain in the mist
The valley descends into its pit
And so a peak is born of pride and spirit
Soaring to where the eagles glide
And the angles come for a quick visit

I like the great imagery that those last 5 lines gave me---nice! I understand your train of thought in this poem. It's makes me think of two sayings:

"All good things come to those who wait"

and...

"Carpe diem!"

Well, with my patience, I tend to choose the latter most of the time : )

Good expression. Keep it up!

H.S.

I say enjoy it while it is there and create great memories for when it is gone. Love, just like angels, can't be caged, for when they are ready they just fly away, illusionary. It is beautiful while it lasts though and sometimes it last till eternity. One just never knows.

Smiles,
Rita

Just enjoy it while it lasts I say.
never mind the waiting-
live in the moment of the 'Quick Visit'
