When the ____ hits the Ceiling Fan

Contributed by jyssvw on Sunday, 18th September 2005 @ 01:36:11 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

When there is nothing worth living for
And misery and its company are banging on your door
Hold on
The best you can do is be strong
The worst you can do is give in to the pain
Every happy day is simply one more gain
Each sunny day
Is one less without the rain

When the ____ hits the ceiling fan
And what you hold inside explodes
The revolving door is stuck
And there is no time to reload
Ammunition for the fight ahead
They wait for you-
The moment you climb out of your peaceful bed
In keeping your shoulders straight
And never tilting your head
You send a message
Body language
Exudes colorful courage
And you become yourself instead

When your feeling lost
Abandoned by those who have crossed-
You out of the plan
They picked up and ran
As their backs faded into the night
You turned and walked the other way
Knowing that it would be alright
Hoping to ascend
To a new found height
Miles and miles away

Yes! This is the right approach!! I wish some others would view depression the same way around here. Very positive message in this write, and there is light at the end of every tunnel. Excellent job! I hope this write inspires others as well.

All too general for my liking but a nice flowing write nonetheless. Chris.

Very meaningful abstraction! I found this rather powerful, and a joy to read - as the best abstract themes should be. Well done!

Andrew
