Imagine

Imagine

I can imagine us walking,
Down the sandy beach,
Watching the setting sun,
And watch the ending day.

I can imagine us together,
As I gaze upon your face,
As I sigh and fall in love,
And watch the ending day.

I can imagine us in love,
The world can do no wrong,
As we hold our hands,
And watch the ending day.

I can imagine us lying,
Down on a soft towel,
So I can stare into your eyes,
And watch the ending day.

I can imagine us kissing,
In a gentle embrace,
Filling in the coldness,
And watch the ending day.

I can imagine you and I,
In each others embrace,
I can imagine you and I,
Watching the ending day.

hi there tempest ...

thank you for reading my offering
and your kind greeting ...

ive read all of your poems
it is awesome how much ground you cover
while remaining true to your style

tho the presentations are nearly the same
each poem and each thought is a journey
into originality and heartfelt intimacy

your clarity and honesty is remarkable
as well as a little bit disarming
yours is a valued lesson in skill
beauty and artful writing
