I tried not to lie,
tried not to lie to you,
Sometimes was hard,
Sometimes was hard to do,
I made you cry,

But I tried not to lie,

We met at a place,
Where people don't get together,
You had such grace,
We spoke about the weather,
Stared into space,
As I inhaled your leather,
Your heart shaped face,
and my heart beating better.
Spent three lazy months,
Planning to get out of bed,
Falling in love,
And we were not scared,
Laughing at things,
That weren't all that good,
You fell for me,
I never thought you would.
Temperatures dropped,
leaves began to fall,
I didn't answer,
every single call,
started putting fuel,
on old flames again,
trying not to lie,
becoming a pain.
When I knew you fell,
I changed my attitude,
I know it's wrong,
