Suicide Children

Contributed by awalker9 on Saturday, 17th September 2005 @ 01:24:05 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I want to meet those poor children
Who felt just like me at times
I want to know of the pain still burns
If they would read my rhymes

I want to know if there was no choice
If ahving felt the way I feel
I want to hear them tell me "its okay"
That there is hope... still

I want to see their pale faces
I want to see their bloody wrists
I want them to haunt me at night
& push me toward the light with their fists

I want to hear their stories
I want them to make me cry...
& wonder how long do i have till the day comes...
that I die.

Personally I am convinced that suicide is not a solution but hey... we all go through that kind of emotion at a certain point in life. Sometimes death seems the only way out but on the other hand; you never know what might be around the next corner. Life is full of surprises and sometimes there are pretty nice ones among them too :)

Very nice poem though. Really liked it!

Sometimes we carve away more than we could have ever imagined. The greatest knowledge that we can drill into our minds in time of tragedy or grief is that life and how it ends should not be regretted. Accept that we are all held here for different reasons and different times, on this earth, pain can subside. After this earth......? This write was full of emotion and longing, I was very touched to read this whirlwind of tragedy. There were ups and downs and colorfully descriptive revelations "I want to know if there was no choice
of having felt the way I feel
I want to hear them tell me "its okay"
That there is hope... still". Here I take it to be a revelation of searching. That is all life is, and maybe your friend's cousin just found what shehe was searching for. We all write our own endings, some are written by the lives we chose to live and some are writtne by our own hand.

~Learn to endure, there is nothing more to be done. Make sure nothing is wasted, remember it all; every insult, every tear. Tattoo them on the inside of your mind, in life knowledge of poison is essentail. Nobody becomes an artist unless they have to~weeping prophet
