You ripped my heart
Right out of my chest
And you tore it apart
And then went to rest
You shattered my heart to pieces
And then put it all back in place
You know how to kill me with ease
You know how to destroy my space
You broke my rule and entered my life
You got to close and now I’ve no heart
You helped me to lose, not win this strife
And now I, myself, am falling apart
My heart is in pieces in a pile
So I’m still living, but I’m in pain
And you don’t care; you just smile
You don’t care that to live, I have to strain
My heart is way beyond repair
There’s not any kind of tape to fix it
My brain and heart agree: no one cares,
Especially you who tore it bit-to-bit
Broken, torn and shattered
You easily killed my heart
My heart and soul you murdered
And you easily tore me apart

Really good use of expression in this write...packed with emotion and heartache. You'll be surprised how the right guy can come along
and miraculously repair that shattered heart : )
Good job, I really liked the last stanza.

Agrees, with Scorp, and it CAN HAPPEN...............dont shut it out or off.! Dont just plunge into the scene again, let it flow and come to you........be surprised.! Good heart, filled write.

| That is amazing. I mean it can relate to everyone. When you get your heart ripped out it hurts, and you made that EXTREMELY obvious about how much it hurt you. I hope to read more of your writing! |
