You and me in ancient memories...
Chasing mother nature's butterflies,
Sit beside me by the flowing streams,
See our desire and water rising dreams,
Climbing rocks like children,
Smiling barefoot in the grass.....
Without the breeze; without the tides,
An aromatic sweetness blowing across my life...
Where would I be were you not at my side,
You make me whole from night past noon,
Without you I'd be only a Ravelin Moon.

A lovely, loving, expression. I especially liked 'smiling barefoot in the grass'. I wish you many poetic inspirations. SusieQ |

I like the very first line. "ancient memories" sounds so mystical. I really enjoyed this beautiful poem:-)

Wow, this was so calm and peaceful. You put a lot of stuff into a few short lines. I had visions of being at a beach... so very peaceful. Whats a Ravelin Moon?
Your friend,
