Remember To Smile!

Contributed by Kassidi on Wednesday, 24th July 2002 @ 10:22:14 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

When you are feeling down,
Everything seems to be going wrong,
You wonder why nothing is going right,
Remember to smile!

Turn that frown upside down,
And change it into a smile,
Because you know no one likes a frowny face,
And you'll make the world a better place,
By smiling all the while.

Don't waste away your day,
Just be thankful for every little thing that comes your way,
Sure you dropped a dish.……or two...…..ok five,
But look on the bright side,
You get to go shopping!

Be thankful for what you have,
And look the bright side for a change,
Things will turn up a lot better,
If you look at life differently.

Someone out there is probably having a worse day than you,
So don't pity yourself,
Go out and live your life,
And remember to smile!

Nice write :) and yes it did make me smile!
We all could use this, I know at times it can be tough, but it takes less muscles to smile then to frown.

I always find something to smile about, actually I am one of them really silly people that others think should grow up....but never!!!
I loved your words in this Kassidi, it needs to be said to remind some folk sometimes though.
Brilliant write, loved it.

Don't worry about putting your poetry in categories
Just sing them from a mountaintop
And keep singing
Magic!
