Waking up next to you

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Wednesday, 14th September 2005 @ 06:18:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Green tears embellish your memory,
Like the rose kisses you once gave me...

(Why can’t I let you go?)

Oh, decaying hope! Oh, endless sorrow! Oh, pulsating anguish!

OH, HEART!

Feel no more!
This lugubrious shadow hovering over me is unbearable,
And I want to love blindly...

My hands search in the dark oblivion for a kindred spirit,
I only find wretched emptiness,
And the pitiful wetness of my weeping,

Is there nothing more?
Have I finally blinked and died?
Stranger in the shadows of loneliness,
Do you travel the same path and,
Can we walk together, hand in hand?

I beseech you with my tired eyes, silently pleading,

Hold me, as close as two can be...
Love me... if only for a moment...

Remind my heart that there is still hope,
And there is still… someone like you,
Dressed in arabesque robes of celestial adoration,
Your arms outstretched to envelop my shivering body,
Words of tender romance and bliss so readily on your tongue,
I can taste them in your kiss...

The sun is still shining when I close my eyes,
I can feel your heart breathing with mine,
A melody of passion and splendor,
What more could I ask for...

When I wake up with you dreaming next to me?

Ma fleur précieuse
vos mots sont ceux des disciples
avec la sagesse et
émotion loin au delà de votre âge
la beauté découle de votre stylo en tant que toujours
magnifique
le petit

I fell in from the begining and was left wanting more ... well done my dear, well done !!!

Beautiful write Stephy the "oh" parts at the
beginning brought Shakespeare to mind
although you are far better than he. I just
loved the imagery in this and as always the
poem was written with beauty and care.
Perfect as always my dear poetess.
