Substitute the hole in my heart
Caress my body and soul
Tell me you love me
When I am the one you want to hold
Subside the needing and wanting
My heart feels bare
I cry by myself
When you are not there
As I sit and stare
Truth over matter
The abuse and the battered
That brought me to dispare
I need the love
There’s always room to compare
Where the heart lands
Will you be there to understand?
When I need you
When I need to find you
Alone in my mind
Will you be there?
