You told me lies,
about the way your life used to be.
You made me break down,
to show me how it felt to be you.
Like a rock I stood here,
a shoulder for you to lean on.
But your bitter tears,
left me corroded and weak.
Now you've got me hanging,
on an edge of your broken heart.
You've got me wondering,
if I'll ever climb back up.
These days you're just a ghost,
I can see right through you now.
I don't know why you had to hurt me,
only to leave my life and destroy yours.
Bitter lady, how I now long for your sweet lies.

I enjoyed this one.
Sometimes we preffer to hear some "sweet Lies" to feel some hope with the other person.
And I got to say that, why is people in this site being so selfish, I mean they read and read, but don't rate, or don't do the primary thing COMMENT on poems. |
