Longing for Her

Contributed by sride686 on Tuesday, 13th September 2005 @ 06:59:56 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I feel my death as it creeps so near
Pain in my heart for I wish you were here
Weaker I grow with out you here
I need you my love to hold me dear

Can love bring death I ask myself
To hurt so much that in life you can not dwell

Some times I feel like I have nothing left
Without you here what do I have left?

My hurt goes out with never ending pain
I sleep at night and call out your name

Darkness begins to seep
As my depression begins to grow deep
Lost in my mind with thoughts of you
When will I return to be with you?

Left here alone I begin to sweat
I feel my life as I’m dripping wet

Dripping wet as I feel my blood flow
Faster and faster as my life starts to go

What is the plan for all this pain
Why must my life this love have to claim
Its claimed my heart and my soul
I’ve lost my mind as I fall down this hole

This pit of longing for this love that I need
I’ve hit the bottom as my heart starts to bleed
Left here to die and suffer in grief
No answer from God my thoughts are to weak

I need to return and get out of this place
And feel her soft kiss upon my face

Love so dark but sweat and cold
I love this love that makes me whole

~Steve~

that poem had a nice flow to it
it made my heart warm

i think it reminded me of my girlfriend
she is gone
and i long for her too
that was a beautiful write
it made me cry

I love your words of love for me. Soon you will be home and in my arms where you belong. I miss you terribly and I love your great expressions of emotion. I feel your heart ache and your pain my love.

I need to return and get out of this place
And feel her soft kiss upon my face

Love so dark but sweat and cold
I love this love that makes me whole

I love this love that makes me whole too. Keep writing and sharing your talent with me and the world. I love you.
Lea-Ann
