Dreamed of you again last night
Missed holding on to you so tight
I missed your lips that press so warm
The words the speak seem to disarm
As your face hovered in my mind
I smelled the scent you leave behind
A single tear slipped from my eye
I never let you know I cried

Oh... That's sad... I'm always moved by sad poetry... You have a very good heart, I'm sure it will always mend...

This poem is very deep and heartfelt. So simple, yet so powerful. Lovely!

This is a beautiful sad poem. I have a weakness for sad poetry. I really liked this one. |
