Shattered glass,
All over the ground,
Blood red roses,
Dripping down,
Ashes of life,
And dust of death,
Symbolic images,
Of the life that's led,
Faded pictures,
Dusty shelves,
Black silhouttes,
Rusty nails,
Old memories,
Locked away,
Not even the good ones,
Come out to play,
Black hate,
Smiles of pretend,
Never closed wounds,
That I'll never mend,
Scars and cuts,
Dirty tricks,
Lies and hate,
The way to live,
Patched and faded,
Torn a part,
I don't see why you would want,
This ragged old heart....
