Rapture Ryder

Contributed by secretwind on Monday, 12th September 2005 @ 02:12:16 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The wind blows fallen leaves
as the sun light slowly fades...
as something sweet
slips
into my mind
I close my eyes and sway
here comes that feeling again
The rapture riders are coming for me.

Consumed by the fires of heaven
I smile cause I believe
that love is gonna find a way
to kill the pain,
A genesis of desire
has my soul on fire
this feeling of bliss
takes me highier and higher...

I explode and become a river of tears
rolling serenely down a mountain
flowing into a lake,
A ripple turns into a wave
the reflection of the moon is so beautiful
as a gentle breeze takes me away.

I don't think the poem quite fits what you have written about in your poem. In fact quite the opposite happens what should be a happy moment turns into a sad one.
